Christian marriage is a solemn and public covenant between two people in the presence of God.
Marriage is a solemn and joyous sacramental rite that the Church is privileged to oversee for its members. To plan a wedding at Christ Church, the first step is to contact the Administrative Assistant for Worship and Liturgy.
It is required that at least one of the parties be a baptized member of Christ Church; that the ceremony be attested by at least two witnesses; and that the marriage conform to the laws of the State and the canons of this Church.
Dates are usually set far in advance, and premarital counseling is a required part of the process.
