Pura Vida in Costa Rica
Christ Church hosts summer and winter mission trips to Costa Rica, one of two Companion Diocese partnerships with the Diocese of North Carolina. For more than 20 years, Christ Church has been building its relationship with our brothers and sisters in Costa Rica.
Our current project will including helping build a second Diocesan House in Limon City and developing relationships with the Episcopal churches in Limon. In addition to some construction work, we will have afternoon workshops to discuss Christian formation.

Groups stay at the Maribu Caribe and work wherever the needs are greatest for most of the week.
While in Limon we will enjoy a number of activities which will include a Costa Rican cooking class, pool party with parishioners from local churches, a day at the beach and visit to a wildlife preserve.
The cost of this trip is approximately $1,200 and includes airfare, accommodations, all transportation, and most meals. Scholarships are available to young adults. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Laura Konitzer at
