Discovery Service
Sundays 11:15 a.m. in All Saints’ Hall
This is a special service designed for children ages birth through 8 years old. This service incorporates the traditions of Episcopal worship while maintaining the attention of our younger audience. The service is shorter than a Rite II Eucharist but includes the important elements including the Collects, Bible Lesson and Gospel Readings, Nicene Creed, Children’s Sermons and Communion. Children are encouraged to participate in many aspects of the service as lay ministers. Eventually the children will lead the processional. We will have a crucifer, torch barriers and children bringing in banners and flags.
