Choir, Children, Youth and Adult Programs
Nursery Care available from 5:15-8:00 pm in the Nursery Suites (up to 4 yrs. old)
Choir Programs
• 4:30-5:45 pm: St. Cecilia Choir Rehearsal - Choir Room
2nd-5th graders enjoy choir practice followed by dinner.
• 4:00-4:45 pm: St. Nicolas Choir - Choir Room
• 5:15-5:45 pm: Discovery Chorus - Choir Library
Four year olds through 1st graders will join the choir as worship leaders for the Discovery Service.
• 6:00-7:30 pm: Christ Church Singers Rehearsal - Choir Room
6th-12th graders practice, join the youth for dinner at 6:30 pm, resume choir practice (those attending EYC join choir practice at 7:00 pm). Choristers not attending EYC will focus on sight reading and other pieces of music.
Christian Education for Children JK-5th Grade - Main Floor, New Building
• 6:45-7:45 pm: The children’s program is grouped into three sections:
Seekers (JK and 1st grade), Adventurers (2nd and 3rd grade) and Explorers (4th and 5th Grade). Seekers and Adventurers will experience Godly Play lessons from the Old and New Testament. We will also use the rotation workshop model for some of the lessons, which allow exploration of the same lesson in different formats: cooking, drama, and science projects. Explorers will experience new lessons, stories and films that go deeper and lend themselves to more discussion and application.
Youth Program - All Saints' Hall/ St. Francis Rooms
• 6:30-7:00 pm: The middle school youth will eat together, and then have EYC from 7:00-8:00 pm. High School youth will gather in homes.
Adult Classes - 6:45-7:45 pm
• Faith and Real Life: Discovery Classes, Grief Classes, Parenting and Marriage Classes (Yellow Room)
• ABC’s: Join us for clergy led classes on the basics of faith ranging from sin and forgiveness to prayer and praise (M207/M208)
• Bible Study: Speaker series featuring classes and discussions based on the book Lord of the Impossible (Blue Room)
