Communication Skills Training

We are excited to announce that three Communication Skills Training will be offered at Christ Church this winter and spring. Bob Chapman, CEO of Barry-Wehmiller, is helping us offer this transformational class to our parishioners and partners within the Charlotte community. The Communications Skills Class is a full three day experience. Course topics include: DISC (communication styles profile), the 7-step Communication Cycle, Nonverbal Communication, Reflective Listening Skills, Effective Confrontation, One to Others and Learn.Commit.Do.

The class will meet from 8:30AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The evening activity on Thursday night from 6:30 - 8:30 PM is a requirement for participation in the class.

The structure of the course means that we will have limited spots available. Participants will be selected in order to have a balanced number of students for each class. If the class fills, we will start a waiting list (available dates: May 14th - 16th, 2013; July 30th - August 1st; October 15th - 17th, 2013).
