Youth Program And Sunday School Open House - September 8th (back to top)

Youth Program and Sunday School Open House for 6th - 12th Grades is on September 8th. Join us for our second annual open house. Deb Hogg, Davidson College Admission Counselor, shares 20 years of wisdom including why church should be a priority for your student. Meet the adults working with your children this year, learn a bit about our programs and benefit from our guest speaker's expert knowledge of what really makes a difference for aspiring students. We will meet from 7:00-8:30 PM in The Blue Room.

Middle School EYC Kicks off at the Pool! - September 15th (back to top)

We hope to see you all on Wednesday, September 15th at 6:30 - 8:00 PM for swimming and pizza at Myers Park Country Club. Please bring $15, a towel and a fun attitude!  Your leaders are looking forward to seeing you again and meeting some for the first time! 

September 22nd we start our fun and crazy EYC in ASH for dinner at 6:30 - 8:00 PM each Wednesday night.

Challenge! Adventure! Winterlight at Kanuga! - December 27th (back to top)

Now in its 35th year, our December 27th - January 1st conference for high school students is embracing a game show theme to help teenagers explore how their “decisions for life” bring them closer to or further away from God.

“Every day we are challenged with decisions either to run away from our responsibilities or walk toward them with our heads held high,” said Dee Zeller of Stevensville, Md., who is coordinating the conference with Scott Jeffries of Raleigh, N.C. “Winterlight 35 will inspire us to choose God with our hearts and souls.”

At Winterlight 35 your youth group will have the opportunity to

 - meet and make friends with teens from across the Southeast
 - attend worship services designed especially for young people
 - ask important faith questions in a welcoming, encouraging community
 - participate in a large group service project
 - ring in 2011 during a fun, unforgettable winter break at Kanuga

As a chaperone, you’re welcome to attend all plenary sessions with your youth group. Small group sessions and workshops just for youth leaders also will be offered.
