Christ Church is currently seeking a full-time Director of Outreach and Mission. Our ideal candidate will have a Christian faith and infectious passion for outreach and mission ministries that will inspire vision, energy, and participation in members of the parish. A knowledge of and experience in non-profit and/or social service work will enable the candidate to manage projects most effectively and empower others to engage in these ministries. May Monthly Service Project - Freedom School Supplies  (back to top)

For the second year, we are partnering with Christ Lutheran Church to provide a Freedom school for the children of McClintock Middle school and their siblings who attend Rama Road Elementary. Help us make them feel welcome. Grab a train from the board in the Rotunda, and purchase the suggested items listed on it, or just bring items to donate on Parish Day. We especially need new bathing suits, adult sizes small, medium and large for both men and women, one pieces only. A complete list of items can be found here. Please place items in the red bin in the Rotunda.

Freedom School Interns Need Housing (back to top)

Freedom School Partners is looking for housing for their Summer Interns. A Summer Intern is a college aged individual that is making a difference in our young scholars lives this summer. Volunteers Needed For Men's Shelter -  June 2nd, 14th, 22nd (back to top)

We are in need of people to help serve at the Men's Shelter of Charlotte on June 2nd, 14th and 22nd. Help serve dinner to some of our homeless neighbors while enjoying some fellowship with a team of Christ Church parishioners. We begin at 5:15 PM and we are finished by 7:15 PM. Interested? Freedom School Volunteers Needed - June 24th - August 2nd (back to top)

Freedom School needs volunteers with their afternoon activities! Come join in on a field trip-go bowling, make a splash in the pool or share a talent. Most of the activities are Monday-Friday from Noon - 3:00 PM, June 24th through August 2nd. All field trips leave from Christ Lutheran Church parking lot. We asked that volunteers be rising juniors in high school and older. Sign up for a one afternoon or several. This is a fun way to share your gifts and learn more about Freedom School. Rama Road Girl Scouts (back to top)

The Rama Road Girl Scouts need you! Rama Road Girl Scouts has been a great success and now we are in need of a few more helpers for next year. We need assistant leaders, substitute leaders, badge sewers, substitute leaders, snack providers and helpers with special events.
