Welcome to Christ Church. Perhaps you’ve already attended a service here and are visiting our website to get more information. Perhaps you are checking us out online before you choose to visit the church. We realize that people often seek a church when they have experienced a change in their lives, which may be a move, graduation from college, marriage, birth, sickness or death. We want you to know that Christ Church strives to care, support and guide you through these life changes. We also provide an array of opportunities for you to engage in worship, education, fellowship and service to God and community. We are glad you are here and we would love to help you in your quest for a spiritual home.

We would love for you to visit Christ Church. Discover Christ Church Orientation and Tour is offered the second Sunday each month.

Mission Funding
The ECW just completed our annual Mission Funding process which is an opportunity to give back to the community money that was raised throughout the year by GoodNews the shop@Christ Church and The ECW Christmas Bazaar. Due to your WONDERFUL support this past year, GOODNEWS is able to donate $58,000 to Mission Funding. Combined with the money from the Bazaar, a total of $72,235 will be disseminated to various agencies in the community by the end of January! Many, many thanks to our volunteers and shoppers in 2011!

GOODNEWS would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our anonymous benefactor. Some wonderful soul is helping us grow our business. With this donation we will be able to build a much needed storage closet or address the issues with our store climate. This gift means a great deal to us because now we do not have to hold back money from our profits this year but can allocate all of the money to Mission Funding. We would also like to thank all of the elves who helped us count inventory in early January! We couldn't do it without you!!

GOODNEWS TO GO is up and running!
Casseroles, soups and breads available for you to pick up from the freezer inside GOODNEWS. Stock your pantry now for the holidays, pick up a dinner for a sick friend or grab some casseroles to send back to college for exam time! We will even wrap it for you! Now that really is GOODNEWS!! All proceeds from these food items go back to outreach.

Classes For Newcomers To Christ Church - February 12th (back to top)

A one hour Introduction to Christ Church, campus tour and brunch is offered monthly with those new or returning to Christ Church especially in mind. Starting at 10:00 AM, a tour and orientation of buildings with anecdotes of the glorious and humorous history included will follow a general overview of the church and concludes with brunch.

We also conduct a two hour orientation to Christ Church from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. This class is designed with all levels of membership in mind: prospective members, recent members, members of long-standing. We will explore opportunities for worship, education, care and service in and beyond Christ Church. Whether the Lord’s current call on one’s life is to comfort or to take a leap of faith, Christ Church has a next step for you. Christ Church now has a hearing loop system for worshipers using hearing aids. The system works for all services held in the Church only. If your hearing aid has a setting for telephone use, switch your device to the “T” or telephone setting. The audio signal from all microphones will be broadcast directly to your hearing aid for better clarity. If your hearing aid does not have a telephone or T setting, contact your hearing aid provider and ask them help.  Super Bowl Sunday To Go Food (back to top)

Hello Christ Church Parishioners! I hope everyone is well. This year, on Super Bowl Sunday (February 5th, 2012), the kitchen is preparing delicious food Food-To-Go for your Super Bowl Party. It will be for pick up only. Whether you’re having a party at your home, or going to one, or maybe just hanging out with buddies and watching the game, Christ Church is the place to purchase delicious food for Super Bowl Sunday!

Here’s how it works:

1. Choose from the menu below
2. Order your food IN PERSON ONLY from the main kitchen
   You can order Monday thru Friday between 8:30 AM until 2:00 PM from now until February 3rd either from Chef Eric or Lillian (pre-payment is required)
3. Pick your ordered food up on Super Bowl Sunday (February 5th) between 2:00 - 4:30 PM in the main kitchen. Everything with be in heavy-duty disposable foil pans (which are oven proof for quick and easy re-heating). Choose between half pans (which feed approx 12-15) or full pans (which feed between 25-30). And heck, even if you’re not having or going to a party, it’ll be great for feeding the family for a few days!

Free Concert By The Sloan River Project Band - February 8th (back to top)

Sloan River Project featuring our Youth Minister Drew Courtright is coming to Christ Church! They will play on Wednesday, February 8th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in All Saints Hall. Bring the whole family! Will be done in time to catch the UNC/Duke game.
