First Friday For Men - September 3rd (back to top)

September First Friday for Men breakfast occurs this coming Friday, September 3rd. This monthly, wide open, casual gathering in the Blue Room of Christ Church has solid content each time about the challenge of being men of conviction and faith in this world. We begin at 7:00 AM with coffee. Then we'll move to an Anderson's-catered breakfast. Around 7:30 AM there'll be the start of a presentation from Dr. Bill Pierce. He's in the midst of having sold his dental practice and realizes that there are many major transitions in a man's life: of letting go and moving on. All of these can be with soul and God in tact or not! The cost of breakfast is $7.00 and you can pay upon arrival. Reservations are essential. Parish Day - September 12th (back to top)

Parish Day is September 12th and just around the corner! We hope you will join us for a casual Sunday lunch on the lawn following the morning service. We will be serving fried chicken and all of the seasonal sides. Volunteers of all ages are needed for face painting, children’s games and day of logistics, so please contact Jessica Fallis at jessica@blackdressandpearls.com. Bring your blankets and we look forward to seeing you then!

Christ Church Tennis Tournament - October 9th-10th (back to top)

Join fellow parishioners for a day (or two) of tennis on October 9th and 10th. This event will be fun, competitive, and will allow us to get to know one another in a different setting. We plan to hold a doubles event on Saturday, October 9th and mixed doubles on Sunday, October 10th. There is no need to find a partner, that will be done for you, with the goal being to create fair teams. Please consider playing in one or both events.

Men's Weekend - January 28th-30th (back to top)

Annual Men’s Weekend has been set for January 28th-30th. We return to Valle Crucis Conference Center near Boone, NC. Every year this weekend for those who attend has been a ‘best’ investment in self for friends, family and colleagues. Upon return, home and work get so much more by virtue of being on this weekend. Leadership has been determined to be Chip Cash of Search Ministries in Charlotte. In previous years he’s led this weekend and been very well received. Cost of the weekend is $180. This includes room, board and a portion of the leadership.
