By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Youth Serving at Christ Church

We hope to allow our youth to develop a serving heart that understands and desires our call to be Christ's hands in our world today both locally and globally. We hope to accomplish these goals by educating our youth about the needs of the world and by developing relationships with communities in need.

  • Glory Ridge is a Christian work camp located in western NC in Madison County. It is a very rustic camp sitting on a ridge overlooking the French Broad River. We will be serving those in the surrounding county, making repairs, and doing work projects as needed. Drew Courtright one of our new youth ministers who will join us at the end of July, will be leading the trip. Glory Ridge is a very special place for him where he served and led in years past. You can expect long work days with great experiences and evenings filled with cooking, debriefing, worship, music, laughter and building community among peers. We won’t forget to throw in a day or two of fun like rafting and such!! Registration forms can be downloaded here. Let us know if you are interested and we will start building a team for Glory Ridge. The middle school mission trip is for rising 7th – rising 9th graders. Contact Anne Ratcliffe if you have questions 704 714-7941 or ratcliffea@christchurchcharlotte.org.
