Habitat for Humanity

Interested in helping with Habitat in other ways? In-Kind donations (bucket of nails, box of shingles, cement for the driveway, etc) goes towards reducing the cost of our Habitat House. Contact Carrington with ideas or questions. Spring Clearning? The Habitat Re-store takes gently-used (like new) books of all types! Last year Julia's Coffee Shop and Bookstore sold over $9,000 worth of books which helped purchase 347 buckets of nails, 187 squares of siding, 93 windows, 2 bathtubs and shingles for 18 houses in Charlotte. Clean your office and shelves at home and deliver your books to the Re-store on Wendover Avenue (and don't forget to tell them that you are donating from Christ Church!).

Men's Shelter of Charlotte

1st Sunday, 2nd Friday, 4th Thursday of each month, year round

The EWS is the last stop for homeless men in Charlotte. Teams (of 5-8 people) pick up food at the Charlotte Rescue Mission (SUV or minivan needed), purchase breakfast bars for our homeless Neighbors, assist with check-in, serve food, and pass out blankets. Friendship Trays Drivers
If you have an hour to spare one day a month, you can help provide a hot meal to those who wouldn't otherwise have one. Christ Church drives Route 25 each business day of the year.
