Turning Pages Book Club
My name is Candace Curlin and I was asked to share my story about my ‘homeless book club’ AKA Turning Pages Book Club. A Sunday morning in August 2009…missed making 8:45 AM service so thought I may go for a run instead. I think God must have wanted to speak to me in a different way that day. As I turned on the TV to check the weather, the CBS Sunday Morning news began presenting a story about a lawyer and homeless man in Boston who developed a book club for the homeless community.
