Duff Christmas Angels
Christ Church parishioners adopt children in Duff by purchasing clothing, personal hygiene articles, and toys/books each year. Parishioners may sponsor one or more children or team up with other parishioners to sponsor a child.
Duff Wrapping Angels
Parishioners join together on several dates during the year to wrap the 100's of gifts purchased for the children in Duff, TN. Typically there are several morning wrapping sessions (childcare provided for nursery age children), one Saturday morning wrapping session (perfect for families together and wrappers of all ages) and a youth wrapping session at a Wednesday night Youth Group.
Duff Christmas Angel Driver
After purchasing and wrapping the hundreds of gifts for the families in Duff, we need drivers to deliver the bounty! We rent a moving truck (a small one) and have two people drive the Christmas presents to Duff. For the past 30 years, the drivers are typically served a bowl of soup after all the gifts have been unloaded! What a great way to bring a little Christmas cheer to your own Christmas.
Duff Mission Trip Exploratory Team
In 2009 Christ Church wishes to send an exploratory team of parishioners to Duff to ascertain and explore possibilities for a family style mission trip to Duff in the future. Dates for exploration have not been set.
