Education and Training for Outreach and Mission

Christ Church seeks not only to have 100% participation with their parishioners in Outreach and Mission, but also to equip those servants for the work to which they are being called. We are pleased to offer general classes which help you focus on where and how God is calling you to serve (Servant Leadership School), as well as, specific training sessions in ministry areas. Servant Leadership School (an 8 week course) is a great place to discern where God is calling you to serve. One-on-one sessions are also available by contacting Aimee Norman, Director of Outreach and Mission, at normana@christchurchcharlotte.org or 704-714-6940 for an appointment. We invite you to learn about outreach at Christ Church by joining us for one or all of these wonderful educational opportunities.

Locally

WISH Hope Team Training
Attend two session trainings and work on a team of five-eight parishioners who will be paired with a family who is working towards self sufficiency. Teams of volunteers will provide emotional and spiritual support through personal relationships. Lisa Howell, WISH Volunteer Coordinator, will host these informative sessions that will prepare parishioners for their work. If you have any questions, please contact Aimee Norman at normana@christchurchcharlotte.org or 704-714-6940.

Christian Perspectives on Current Events
Guest speakers and/or Christ Church clergy will teach on topics when our faith and current events in the world intersect each week.
