For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be
our way of life.      Ephesians 2:10

Young Adults at Christ Church

One of the most asked questions by prospective or current young adult members is “Are there any other people my age that go to Christ Church? Believe it or not, there are lots of active young adults at Christ Church, and we even have our own group!

The Christ Church Young Adults Group is focused around connecting the 22-35 year old members at Christ Church and providing an environment to network, socialize, and give back to the community. It’s a great way to meet other young adults and get more involved!

Young Adult Dinners
We meet for a dinner and discussion on the second Thursday of every month. Usual topics range from activities at the Church to community service opportunities to professional networking to reality TV! Each month we hold the dinner in a different location, ranging from Uptown to Ballantyne and in between, and try to pick a different and unique restaurant every time. Previous dinners have been held at Ru San’s, Mac’s Speed Shop, Sir Edmund Haley’s, Brixx, Zapatas, and Wolfman Pizza. Dinners are open to guests and prospective members as well. Suggestions on restaurants are always welcome, vote for or suggest your favorite on our Facebook page! letanoskyc@christchurchcharlotte.org for additional information.

Service Projects
Once a month we do a service event to give back to the community. Past events have included helping out at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and working at the Men’s Homeless Shelter. We took part in Spring Service Day as well, and are currently working on getting involved in the house building side of the Christ Church Habitat for Humanity house. One of the Hot Dog Sundays over the summer will be staffed by the Young Adults as well. We are always open to suggestions for service events, so please feel free to ask for our help!

August opportunities

We are still in need of school supplies for Rama Road Elementary. If you haven't had a chance to grab an apple, please stop by the rotunda or the gathering space and pick an apple from the tree! You can return the school supplies listed on the apple to the area underneath the tree. Please include the original apple in the bag. Thank you to everyone who has already participated. Questions? Please contact Sarah Brincefield at brincefields@christchurchcharlotte.org.

Help us Sort School Supplies
On August 16th from 9:00 AM - Noon, we will be sorting all of the school supplies collected this summer for Rama Road Elementary. Children are welcome! If you'd like participate, please email Sarah Brincefield at
