Christ Church offers several opportunities for guests, prospective members and parishioners to enter further and benefit from the considerable resources here for faith development, fellowship and service. These courses provide an introduction to the multitude of opportunities available at Christ Church.
Discover Christ Church Tour and Orientation
Offered monthly with those new or returning to Christ Church especially in mind. A tour hour tour and orientation of buildings with anecdotes of the glorious and humorous history included followed by a general overview of the church and concluding with brunch. Fall 2010 dates are September 19, October 10 and November 14th. Each session will begin at 10 AM from the front steps of the church.
New Member Course
This course is offered four times during the year and is designed for those wishing to make a formal decision to join Christ Church. Emphasis on opportunities for spiritual growth, community groups and service. Please contact Christy Letanosky at letanoskyc@christchurchcharlotte.org or 704-714-6972 for dates. The next scheduled date is October 17, 2010, 10 AM to noon and will conclude with brunch.
New Member Community Groups--Digging Deeper
These groups are planned for fall and spring semesters and are a time for new members to come together for further exploration of the vision and mission of Christ Church. Short articles/offerings will be introduced and offered for discussion around the three areas of Christ Church's mission, with opportunity for discussion among new members of past experiences and ways to incorporate those experiences into opportunities at Christ Church. This is a great opportunity to meet other new members of the church and to explore opportunities for personalizing one's invovlement based on interests and experiences. Please contact Christy Letanosky at letanoskyc@christchurchcharlotte.org or 704-714-6972 to register. Childcare is available for these sessions. Fall 2010 will afford two offerings of this group. The first will be offered September 15, 22, 29 and the session offering October 27, November 3 and 10.
