Community Building Activities
Contact: Lindsay Wayman at 704-714-6971
Getting to know your fellow Sunday school classmates can be hard if you only see them on Sunday mornings. To develop and encourage these relationships, we offer a variety of community building activities. This is an opportunity for children to spend some time with their Sunday school friends outside the classroom. When possible, we also integrate a service project into our events. Each semester, we offer a fun night for different grade levels in All Saints' Hall. Sometimes we play Bingo and sometimes we have an evening of indoor games. We are also planning a couple of activities for our 4th and 5th graders, such as exploring the challenges of a high and low ropes course. Be on the lookout for these fun events.

He, She, We and God is a unique opportunity to place the gift of sexuality within our Christian Faith. The program is designed especially for our fifth grade "tweens" - (not yet teenagers, they are in be "tween") and their parents. The leaders for the event are parishioners who are committed to making a connection with the tweens and helping them to see that our community is interested in them during these important years of growth and change. The topics include: sexuality as a gift from God; changing relationships; media, peer and family pressure; male and female reproductive systems and processes; prenatal development and birth; physical and emotional changes of puberty; assertive behavior, and hot topics. Parents of our fifth graders receive registration materials through the mail during the summer. To register, please contact Emily Kalmbach at kalmbache@christchurchcharlotte.org or 704-714-6956.
