Music and Choirs at Christ Church
Welcome to Christ Church Music page! You will find many opportunities here to join with us in the various genres of worship which we offer each week.
Music plays an integral role in the worship and spiritual life of Christ Church. We have traditional robed choirs for all ages and abilities, a Discovery Chorus for young children and our Contemporary Band comprising of instrumentalists and vocalists.
We do hope that you will want to become part of our team and encourage you to become more deeply involved in our worship life together.

St. Francis Choir
Girls in 1st and 2nd Grades and Boys in 1st through 3rd Grades
Sing Praises To God With Our Choirs We are looking for singers of all ages and abilities and hope that you will consider joining one of our choirs. Please encourage your children to sign up with one of our choirs: St. Francis Choir for boys and girls 1st and 2nd grade. St. Cecilia Choir for girls 3rd thru 5th grade. St. Nicolas Choir for boys 3rd thru 6th grade. Christ Church Singers for boys and girls 6th thru 12th grade (by audition only). If you are an adult please consider signing up for one of our 2 adult choirs: Christ Church Choir( by audition only) and the Parish Choir. The Parents’ Role
There will be several opportunities for parents to be involved. Sign-ups for serving as choir mom or dad at weekly choir rehearsals and Sundays will be handed out at the first rehearsal in the fall. It is suggested that each family commit to two per semester – either rehearsals or services. Other opportunities include organizing the choir bake sale in December, the Christmas Concert reception, the Mardi Gras pancake supper in the winter and the year-end choir recognition luncheon for choir members and their families in the spring.
