Sunday Classes and Events - 10:00 AM (back to top) February 5th
The Problem with Perfectionism: Living With Courage In A Wounding World Location: All Saints’ Hall Leaders: The Reverend Chip Edens, Dr. Brené Brown Perfectionism is killing us. It affects how we view ourselves and shapes our outlook on what is possible in our lives. How do we learn to silence the negative voice and embrace what is good and possible in our lives? How do we learn to listen to God’s voice and live with ordinary courage in a wounding world? Brené Brown, Ph.D., LMSW has spent the past ten years studying vulnerability, courage, authenticity, and shame. Now she’s using that work to explore a concept that she calls “Wholeheartedness."
Small Group Bible Study: The Prodigal Son Location: M218 Leaders: Lynn Purdum, John Culbertson and Peter deVries Tim Keller’s “The Prodigal God” is our guide as we look at one of the best known Christian parables: The Prodigal Son.
