Our Approach at Christ Church

Christ Church is a large congregation of approximately 4,500 people. The size allows us to offer innumerable ways of entering, participating and deepening relationships with the Lord, with others and with self. The task of staff and lay leaders is to foster many small congregations within this large one. We are committed to enabling this congregation to be the spiritual home for all. We accomplish this through equal emphases on "knowing God, caring for each other and serving the world" and doing so with all ages. Opportunities abound to worship and study God as known in and through Jesus, to engage in congregational care of one another and self and to serve beyond Christ Church. Staff members and lay leaders who oversee these areas are ever ready to guide and assist new folks and long-standing members alike into parish settings which match interests, skills and sense of call from God with a multitude of smaller projects, efforts and service.

Also annually a campaign is conducted throughout the congregation for people to become clearer about at least one sacred call in their lives, whether that be of worship and study, in-reach or outreach. The invitation to enter more deeply into the life of Christ Church is consistently accessible. Come with your unique set of gifts/talents/strengths and make this a finer place where God is honored and Jesus is followed. We are a large church that has the feel of home.
