Sundays in the Church
7:30 AM: This is a Rite I Holy Eucharist service with a homily, but no music. As the first service of the day, at an early hour, it is more quiet and contemplative than the later services.
8:45 AM: This is a Rite II Holy Eucharist with a sermon, hymns, and a choir, often one of our children's choirs. This service coincides with Godly Play so that the younger children can join their families for communion.
11:15 AM: This is a Rite II Holy Eucharist on the First, Third, and Fifth Sundays of the month and a Rite I Morning Prayer with Sermon service on the Second and Fourth Sundays of the month. This is our most traditional and formal service where the Christ Church Choir usually sings.
Our weekday services are also traditional, informal, and our Wednesday service has a focus on healing. There are some parishioners who consider one of these services to be their main time for worship at Christ Church, so a sense of community is created and newcomers are welcomed warmly.
Tuesdays in the Chapel
6:00 PM: This is a Rite II Holy Eucharist with a homily, but no music. Every other month on the First Tuesday of the month, all who attend are invited to gather for refreshments after the service to deepen friendships.
Wednesdays in the Chapel
Noon: This is a Rite II Holy Eucharist with a homily, special prayers for our extended family members who are living with long-term illness or difficulties, and special prayers and anointing with healing oil for those who attend the service. If you or someone you know is experiencing struggles, illness, or crises of any kind, this service is a great opportunity to bring those concerns to God and to receive special prayers that can help one in the healing process. There is a deep sense of both privacy and intimacy at this service that gives it a unique place in our life of worship.
Thursdays in the Chapel
7:00 AM: This is a Rite II Holy Eucharist with a homily, but no music. It is usually completed in half an hour so that those who attend can get to work on time. From 7:30 - 8:30 AM a simple breakfast and Bible study is held for those who can attend. This is a great way for busy people to find a very welcoming community and to begin again with Bible study.
