Welcome New Members and Visitors! We are expecting you!
We are delighted that you are interested in Christ Church. We invite you to worship with us, study and learn with us through Sunday School classes or a Bible Study, enjoy fellowship with us at Wednesday Night Suppers or other various fellowship opportunities, and serve with us in our church, community and world. We have two parking spots reserved at all times for Visitors in our main parking lot. They are for you! Please make yourselves known to us on Sunday morning when you visit. Our Welcome Table is in the lobby (called the "Rotunda" area) of our education office building. It is our privilege to help you find Sunday School classes, the Nursery Suites or answer any questions that you might have. Christ Church is a vibrant, diverse and spiritual community that is dedicated to serving God. We are here to make you feel welcome and help acclimate you to Christ Episcopal Church. The Newcomers Committee sponsors a number of events throughout the year. Please come join us, so that we may learn more about you; and you can learn more about us.
Christ Church offers two classes for connecting. Discover Christ Church provides new members and others who have taken a break from church attendance a means to assess the fit of the congregation for them. Connect to Christ Church enables people to become more familiar with the multitude of activities and opportunities for faith development and formation along with avenues for living our relationship with Christ through service.
Discover Christ Church - Presented twice a month on the second Sunday after the 11:15 a.m. services and on the fourth Sunday after the 5:00 p.m. service. This one hour class begins with a tour of our buildings and grounds. Following the tour, information about church programs and how to get involved is presented. Aspects of our core values and the strategic plan for the next 5 years will be noted as well. There will be ample time for questions and discussion.

• September 23, October 28 and November 25 after 5:00 p.m. service
Connect to Christ Church - This course is offered three times a year (fall, winter and spring) and is comprised of three sessions. These will be offered on consecutive Sunday mornings and repeated on the following Wednesday evenings. The fall course is set for Sundays, September 23, 30 and October 7 during the Christian Education hour (10:00 - 10:50 a.m.), and on Wednesdays, September 26, October 3 and October 10 from 6:45 -7:45 p.m.

Wednesday Night Dinner
Join fellow parishioners for a dinner of good food and fellowship each Wednesday evening, September-May, from 5:45-6:45pm. Please see the "This Wednesday" tab for details, online reservations and class offerings.
Vespers in the Garden
If you are new to Christ Church, we hope that you will join us at this year's Vespers in the Garden and an evening service with the adult choir.
Candlelight Dinner for Newcomers
The annual Candlelight Dinner for Newcomers is in November at Christ Church. If you have joined Christ Church recently you will be personally sent an invitation. This dinner honors new members at a lovely candlelight event. Clergy, Vestry and other key lay leaders attend and introduce new members.
