Are you ready to deepen your faith and grow into the servant that God is calling you to be? Servant Leadership School, led by Paul Hanneman, Program Director of the Urban Ministry Center, nurtures and equips people to discover God's dream for their lives; to respond in faith and through sacrificial action; and to grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ. This intensive nine-month training cultivates both a prayerful inward journey with God, self, and others and a committed outward journey of service, especially among society’s marginalized. Participants meet for seminars one weekend a month to explore the core themes of the curriculum. They also meet in weekly small groups (time chosen by group participants) to share reflection papers, to pray for one another, and to build compassionate community. Participants are also encouraged to practice daily disciplines of prayer, reflection, and Scripture-reading.
• Weekend Dates: Sept. 21-22; Oct. 19-20; Nov. 16-17; Dec. 14-15; Jan. 18-19; Feb. 15-16; Mar. 14-15; Apr. 11-12; May 9-10
• Tuition: $450 (Scholarships are available for those who can’t afford the full cost. Participants can also arrange to pay over the length of the course.)
