We seek to fulfill this vision by gathering to love God through our vibrant worship and by seeking to grow in our faith by engaging our hearts and mind in thoughtful, relevant education. We take seriously the call to create a safe community where all people are welcome, and where we can care for and support each other through all the passages of life. We are also deeply committed to serving and advocating for justice in our city, nation, and world. For Lent 2012, we’ve created the Leap of Faith Devotional Companion booklet. Watch for your copy in your mailbox this week. It guides you, in a thought-provoking and introspective way, with quick and easy prayers and devotions for each of the 40 days of Lent. Copies are also available on our website and at church.
Join us each Sunday in Lent for the sermon series, “The Gifts of the Leap of Faith.” We’ll discover what it means to live a joy-filled life, to be nurtured by God, how to cultivate your own talents and gifts, and how to remain sustained by prayer.
