Worship is the center of parish life at Christ Church.
It is our response to God’s presence in our lives and represents the best of what we have been given returned to God. As Episcopalians, all of our services are rooted in The Book of Common Prayer, the symbol and source of our unity. Lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi, “as we pray, so we believe, so we live.”
Today, Episcopalians come from many denominational backgrounds and we celebrate the diversity of our various traditions alongside the richness of our Anglican heritage. Through prayer, praise, scripture, sacrament, silence, and song we find our inspiration for an ever-deepening relationship with God and the motivation to go out into the world to serve others.
The broadcast video remains available on the website through midday Wednesday each week.

Regular Sunday Services
(Resumes Sunday, September 18)
8:45 am Holy Eucharist in the Church*
The Holy Eucharist is designated “the principal act of Christian worship.” This service is the weekly celebration of Christ’s resurrection and work among us. The Rite Two liturgy uses contemporary language as found in The Book of Common Prayer 1979. Congregational hymns, Psalms, and choral music for this service are selected from the breadth our Anglican Episcopal heritage, and are led by the Christ Church Schola Cantorum.
8:45 am Contemporary Eucharist in All Saints' Hall*
The Contemporary Eucharist is a Rite Two liturgy from The Book of Common Prayer, combined with various styles of contemporary Christian music led by the Christ Church Contemporary band. Within the relaxed atmosphere of All Saints' Hall, and using multimedia presentations, this service offers time for prayer and meditation, congregational singing, exploration of scripture, and the sacrament of Holy Communion.
10 am Sunday School for all ages
11:15 am Holy Eucharist in the Church*
Like the 8:45 AM Holy Eucharist, the 11:15 AM service includes scripture, a sermon, communion, and music. At this service, congregational hymns are traditional and the Christ Church Choir and Choristers (children) offer a broad range of choral music.
11:15 am Discovery Eucharist in All Saints' Hall*
For young children and families, this service is a modified, slightly abbreviated Holy Eucharist within the informal atmosphere of All Saints' Hall. Music selections are child-friendly, offering both traditional and contemporary songs. Children are invited to serve as "Young Ministers" who participate with special roles during worship. To serve, simply find Sarah Ford before each service to sign-up! A mix of parents, grandparents, and children offer joyful praise in this welcoming environment.
5 pm Holy Eucharist in the Church
This Eucharist uses the traditional Rite Two liturgy and diverse musical styles such as Taize, contemporary songs, gospel music, and well-known hymns within an informal and casual ethos to offer a contemplative and intimate experience of worship.
*Crib and nursery service is provided from 8:30 AM - 12:15 PM (or end of service).
Physically Distant Worship Space in Chapel
Every Sunday, 8:45 & 11:15 am
We recognize that everyone has differing comfort levels and needs for ongoing safety protocols. On Sundays, we are now streaming the 8:45 and 11:15 am Sunday services into the Chapel, which will be a dedicated worship space for individuals and family pods who prefer to remain masked and physically distant for the entire service. Communion will be available. Upon arrival, please tell an usher that you would like to be seated in the Chapel.
Wednesdays, September 14 - 28
6pm in the Church
This special evening worship experience includes candlelight, music, prayers for healing, and time for contemplation and reflection, to ground us in God‘s presence and orient us to God‘s wisdom in our midst.
