Something for everyone at Christ Church VBS!
Mini-VBS (ages 0 - 3): available for children of our onsite volunteers, this program offers a full array of age-appropriate activities, including water play, outdoor play, arts and crafts, music and more. There is no fee to sign up, but a parent must be registered as an onsite volunteer.
Jr. VBS (rising 4s & Ks): includes the same fun stations (crafts, music, Bible story time, etc.) as regular VBS, but designed especially for younger hands and minds. Must be 4 or 5 years old by August 31, 2018 to register. Cost is $40 per participant.
VBS (rising 1st - 3rd grades): a wonderful program where children rotate through hands-on experiments, crafts, outdoor games, music (and more) while growing their faith and Bible knowledge at the same time! Cost is $40 per participant.
Navigators’ Program (rising 4th & 5th grades): a unique offering that takes our “tweens” offsite each day to practice being “the hands and feet of God” by working on projects at agencies around town. Includes one “fun day” where the group gets to relax in fellowship and appreciate their hard work from the week. Cost is $50 per participant and includes transportation to any offsite locations.
Teen Helpers (rising 6th grade & above): a cherished part of our VBS experience is the amazing team of youth who serve each summer to nurture, guide and assist in a variety of ways. Teen Helpers must attend a training session to participate and will arrive at 8:30 AM to report to their leaders and remain until 12:15 PM each day of VBS. Complimentary snacks are provided to our Teen Helpers to show our appreciation for their help. Registration opens March 15 - watch for an email! Limited slots!
Parents: a vital part of the program, our parent volunteers are who make VBS happen. VBS is a family commitment, without which we could not run this program. Our biggest need is for 4 day, onsite volunteers, but you will see the other ways you can help if you cannot commit during the week.
Non-members of Christ Church are welcome to attend; however, please be aware that a parent must remain onsite the entire time of VBS in order for a non-member's child to participate.
We can’t wait to navigate the river with you this summer!
We always welcome adult volunteers at VBS, even when they do not have children participating. Use the registration link below to sign up to volunteer, and if you have children 3 or younger, they can attend mini-VBS while you are here with us!
