Parish Life

Fellowship is at the heart of our spiritual home.

We love to get together for food and fun. Throughout the year, we celebrate special occasions with church-wide events where we can connect with old friends and meet new ones.

Welcome Home Summer Sundays

We are delighted to welcome everyone back to Christ Church after this long time apart. On Sundays this summer, we invite you to hang around after services to visit with old and new friends. We'll even provide the refreshments!

Bring a blanket or chairs, grab your lunch, and join friends on the lawn for some fellowship and fun following the 10:30 am services. Place your order by noon on Friday before the service. (Pre-ordered lunches will be provided rain or shine.)

August 22 - Wrap'N'Roll and Tin Kitchen Food Trucks along with Sunset Slush will be at the Church. You will not want to miss this one! Click on the links to see their yummy menus. Plan to join us for some fellowship and a delicious lunch the whole family can enjoy.

If you would like to volunteer at one of these gatherings or have any questions, please contact Kathryn Saunders at

In May and September, we host a Church-wide celebration called "Parish Day." The event begins with a gathering in All Saints' Hall for a casual worship service, followed by a buffet picnic lunch on the lawn where we celebrate with food, fellowship and fun. There are lots of activities for the kids, including games, a bouncy house and fire truck. Parish Day is a big event!  View details »

Vespers in the Garden

Spring 2022

Vespers in the Garden is our annual spring tradition welcoming newcomers to Christ Church. The Hospitality Committee hosts this casual, outdoor event which includes dinner, followed by a lovely candlelight Vespers service accompanied by the Christ Church Choir. We invite all newcomers to join committee members, clergy, staff, and Vestry for this special occasion, which takes place in the beautiful backyard of a nearby parishioner's home.

For more information, contact Kathryn Saunders, Director of Newcomers and Parish Life.

Wednesday Night Bridge. All are welcome to join this social game of rubber bridge; come with or without a partner. Generally we have 30 - 36 players. If you'd like to learn more, contact Kate Hill,  or 704-365-3811. Bridge is not being held at the church during this time, please stay tuned.
