Freedom School TEEN BOARD
The Christ Church Freedom School will accept applications this winter for its Teen Board, which will serve the 2018 summer program. Fifteen teens (rising 11th grade through college freshmen) will be chosen from Christ Church and the larger community to work with CMS first through fifth graders to boost their literacy skills and enrich their cultural experiences during the summer months. From the time of the very early Church until today, Christians have made pilgrimages to holy places as a part of their discipline and life of faith. Long before the notion of vacations, holidays, and mission trips, individuals within the Christian tradition set out to see the places where our Lord and his saints walked, slept, prayed, and preached the Good News. We invite our tenth graders to journey on a pilgrimage each year.

One Sunday each year we invite our youth to lead worship. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to grow in their faith, and offers all of us an inspiring glimpse at the future leaders of the Church in the world. To register to participate as an usher, server, Chalice Bearer, acolyte, to read scripture, to read the Prayers of the People or to preach, click here.
