Help in the Wake of Hurricane Harvey

    Dear Friends,

As the rain continues to pour in Texas and along the Gulf Coast, our prayers go up for the safety of our neighbors there. Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated into shelters. Many are grieving devastating losses.

As Christians we are called to care for one another, and we as a Church are preparing to do just that. As we await word from the Episcopal Diocese of Texas about how we can be most helpful, we can start today by donating funds to provide for basic needs.

Click the links below to contribute to either of these important organizations on the front lines:

    Episcopal Relief and Development »

    American Red Cross »

Please watch our website, the Friday email, and News & Notices in the Sunday worship bulletin for updates on other ways we can participate in God's work to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors in distress.

    With gratitude for your generosity,

    The Reverend Chip Edens

God has so arranged the body, that the members may care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together with it. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. I Corinthians 12:24-27 (abridged)
