Are you looking for a way to get plugged in or restart your participation at Christ Church? On Sundays, September 18 - October 30 at 10 am in the Good News Café, we are offering an opportunity to get to know Christ Church staff and clergy, learn about programs and ministries, and the many ways you can use your gifts in your Spiritual Home. This class is ideal for newcomers, people who may be feeling disconnected, or anyone who wants to learn more about Christ Church. Join us on any of these Sundays!

Classes and Groups for Parents

We encourage parents to gather for learning, fellowship, and support. Classes are designed to give participants practical skills that can be used immediately with children of various ages to help make parenting a lot easier and forge a strong parent/child relationship. Learn more »

Building up the Body of Christ (Bodybuilders)

Every Monday at 11 am in St. Francis C
Through articles, world events, poetry, essays, book excerpts, and scripture, we connect our faith to everyday living and build up the body of Christ among us. Casual, no homework, come when you can. We learn, laugh and pray together too. 


Wisdom Circle

Every Other Tuesday, 3:45 - 5:30 pm via Zoom
Join this group of seekers as they dive deeper in understanding their spirituality. The exploration of works by theologians/thinkers such as Cynthia Bourgeault, Ilia Delio, Richard Rohr, and Matthew Fox will provide opportunities to develop a vast landscape of theological insight. The first 15 minutes will be for fellowship, followed by content from 4 to 5 pm. The last 30 minutes will allow for additional conversations in which the group members would like to engage. The Space Between Us

Communication is how we share ourselves in this epic conversation called life. You are invited to develop this life-giving skill at The Space Between Us, a three-day experience that will transform the way you communicate at home, at work, and in the world. Classes are held from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the church, Tuesday, Wednesday, and ThursdaySee all dates and register »


Sacred Ground: A Dialogue on Race and Faith

Sacred Ground is a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Small groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism, while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity. Learn more »


Education for Ministry (EfM)

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a Bible study and theological reflection group that connects the study of scripture with our real lives, led by trained mentors. Christ Church currently has three groups that meet once a week at various times, September through May. Visit www.christchurchcharlotte.org/efm to learn more and fill out the interest form. Christian Essentials

Christian Essentials is an innovative ministry that invites participants to explore, grow, and deepen their faith and life with God. This holistic experience covers 15 essential topics for living a Christ-centered life. Small groups form throughout the year and are led by trained facilitators. Learn more here »


Wellness Groups 

Each dimension of our wellbeing is interconnected. Meaningful conversations about these connections have the power to change our lives. Faith and wellness circles provide a way to experience these kinds of conversations with a small group. Explore how your faith is connected with and informs your wellness and daily decisions, assess your current state of balance and wellness, and learn important lessons about change. Learn more and register »

Adult Confirmation and Inquirers Class

This ten-week class is offered each year during the Sunday School hour and explores the basics of Christianity: God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the sacraments, the Bible, The Book of Common Prayer, history of the Christian Church, and being an Episcopalian. The classes are led by Christ Church clergy, and address the way the Episcopal Church lives out that basic faith through worship, Bible study and service to others. Learn more here »


The Beloved Community: Online Video Series

What does it mean to be a human family -- a beloved community -- amidst the great diversity of our city and nation? How do we ensure we are growing together in understanding, relationship and collaboration, and not apart, as we address some of the great issues of our day? This series of Faith Forum conversations centers on these questions, and offers opportunities to explore how we can participate in the Beloved Community into which God calls us.
